Charles “Charlie” J. Theurer, 83, of Glendale was called home to the Lord on December 7th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 27, 1939, to the late Charles and Madeline (nee Valentino) Theurer in Milwaukee, WI.
As a proud father of 6 (with 16 grandchildren), Charlie prioritized family. He always loved to talk and listen when his children called. He was happy to offer advice, brag about the great deals he got, or just chat about everyday life. He loved visiting family and was known to “pop over” to say hi or bring thoughtful surprises. He truly had a special, meaningful relationship with each one of his children.
Throughout his life, Charlie had a passion for cars, always wanting to experience driving something new. Well after retiring from the automotive industry, he continued to visit his customers because he valued the relationships he established in business.
His dog Louie has missed him and will stay in the family, being well taken care of by his son Robert. Charlie will be greatly missed by those that knew him for the joy and amusement he brought to their lives.
Some of the people who will cherish his memory include his sister Madeline Westerlund, sister-in-law Pat Fuggiasco; 6 children, Charlotte (Robert) Martin, Charles (Imelda) Theurer, Robert (Remelyn) Theurer, Jennifer (Matthew) Marx, Robyn (Anthony) Peacock, Angelee (Damien) Sterling; 16 grandchildren, Richard (Sarah) Herriges, Candace (Joshua) Koning, Bobby (Mara) Martin, Jonathon Martin; Dean Theurer, Darren Theurer; Kin Mohillo; Alexi (Jon) Millard, Nick Richmond, Jacob Marx, Sebastian Marx; Alex Peacock, Max Peacock; Dallas Sterling, Adelina Sterling, Jesse Sterling; 5 great-grandchildren, Damian Herriges, Silas Herriges, Fiona Herriges; Sawyer Koning, Xavier Koning.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, John (Anita) Fuggiasco, Salvator Fuggiasco, Joseph (Nancy) Fuggiasco, James (Emily) Fuggiasco, Rosario (Lydia) Fuggiasco, and Frances (Frank) Hill.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon for all their dedication to Charlie.
A memorial service in remembrance of Charlie will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Parish located at 4825 N Wildwood Ave, Whitefish Bay, WI.
