Charles Lee Wolf, 57, of Fond du Lac, found peace on Saturday, December 6, 2014. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family by his side, in Kewaskum.
Charles was born on January 1, 1957, in West Bend, to the late Roland and Joyce (nee Hardegen) Wolf. He attended West Bend West High School. Charles was an ambitious man that had a thirst for knowledge and a drive to succeed. He continued his education at MPTC and earned a number of degrees. He received his associate's degree in auto body repair, as well as a C.I.M. (computer integrated manufacturing) degree. While working as a machinist, he obtained a bachelor's degree for mechanical engineering from Silver Lake College, in Manitowoc. Charles was a dedicated employee of Mercury Marine for 19 years. He proudly declined employment when the company's values shifted and took pleasure in working for Marvel Manufacturing in Oshkosh. In his spare time, he had ambitions for water sports and riding his Harley.
Charles never extended his family with marriage and children of his own, but took great pride and dedication in his siblings and had a tremendous love for his nieces and nephews. In later years, Charles was able to share his love of baseball with his great nephew, Austin, and frequented Miller Park with Austin and his brothers.
Charles is survived by his four siblings, Rodney (Karen) Wolf, Keith (Nola) Wolf, Doug (Laura) Wolf, and Cindy (John) Pickhard; eight nieces, Katie, Kristen, Kassie, Mandy, Krystal, Carrie, Alicia, and Malorie; nephews, Robert and Daniel; great nephew, Austin; and great niece, Kendra.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Terry and Michael Wolf.
A Memorial service in Charlie memory will be held on Friday, December 12 at 1:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St.). Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.
A special thank you to Kathy Hospice and their compassionate team (Katie, we love you), that with their support, made it possible for Charles to enjoy his remaining days at home with his family.
