Christopher J. Good

Christopher J. Good, age 55, of Big Cedar Lake, West Bend, passed away Sunday June 18, 2006, in Illinois, as a result of injuries sustained in an airplane accident.

He was born on February 6, 1951 in London, England to John and Dorothea (nee Harrison) Good. Chris was raised in England and graduated from Kings College in London with a Degree in Mathematics.

On December 15, 1978 he was united in marriage to Susan May in London, England. Together they made their home in London and Chris started his own business. In 1983 he started working for Video Propulsion, Inc., located in Slinger. He moved his family from England to Big Cedar Lake in 1994 to be closer to the home office. At the time of his death Chris was the Executive Vice President, Chief Technical Officer, and Director of Video Propulsion.

Chris was very passionate about his interests in life, whether it was building things like boats or planes, or learning to ski, windsurf, or golf. His latest passion was fishing. Sadly he did not catch the big one! He also enjoyed camping with his wife sue and friends. Chris just enjoyed living life to the fullest. He was a member of the EAA West Bend Chapter # 1158, and also a technical advisor for the EAA.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; a son Thomas (Emmy) Good of St. Michael, MN; his mother Dorothea Good of Devon, England; two sisters, Vicki (Jose) Da Silva of Portugal, and Louise (Paul) Brown of Devon, England; two brothers, Timothy (Camilla) Good, and Richard Good, both of Oxford, England; a sister-in-law, Hilary (Brig) Archer if Essex, England; a brother-in-law, Christopher (June) May of Lancashire, England; other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father John Good.

A memorial service to remember Chris's life will be held on Saturday June 24th at 4:00 pm at St. James Episcopal Church in West Bend. Fr. Russell Arnett will be the celebrant. Visitation will be Saturday at the church only from 2:00 pm until the time of mass. Memorials to EAA Chapter 1158 Scholarship Fund are appreciated.
