Clyde W. Werner, Sr., 67, of Lomira, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 in Fort Atkinson.
He was born on June 18, 1942, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Sylvester and Evelyn (Knoth) Werner, and in June 1968 he married Ann Marie Modlin. His marriage to Ann Marie ended in divorce and on October 12, 1985, he married Christine P. Becker.
Clyde was a member of Painters Union Local 781.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; three children, Clyde (Laura) Werner, Jr. of Helenville, Jacob Werner of Lomira and Vanessa Werner of Lomira; two sisters, Dianne Steele of Sun Prairie and Beverly Berger of Oconomowoc; a grandson, Kyle, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by a sister, Janell Kirsh and two brothers-in-law, Richard Steele and Glen Berger.
Funeral services for Clyde were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at the Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira. Father Gregory A. Chycinski officiated and cremation followed.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
