Corey M. Lorenz, age 34, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
He was born on September 28, 1976 in West Bend to Lester and Cheryl (nee Junghans). Corey attended Good Shepherd Grade School and graduated from West Bend East High School in the class of 1995. Following high school Corey attended Marquette University in Milwaukee. He loved living on Big Cedar Lake in West Bend where he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Lester And Cheryl Lorenz of Big Cedar Lake, West Bend; two brothers, Greg Lorenz of West Bend and Michael Lorenz of West Bend; 10 aunts and uncles; Geraldine (Rev. Joel) Diemer of Madison, Nancy (Herman) Panzer of Kewaskum, Lester Junghans of Kewaskum, Jackie Krell-Stumpf of West Bend, Barrie (Michael) Held of Huron, SD, Judy Junghans of San Francisco, CA, Doug Junghans of Clayton, CA, Therese Junghans of Wausaukee, and Nancy Wiedmeyer of Theresa; other relatives and friends.
Corey was preceded in death by his brother, Brandon Lorenz; three uncles, Mark Junghans, Paul Junghans, and Walter Wiedmeyer; and an aunt, Janis Bscherer.
Funeral services in remembrance of Corey will be on Monday, August 1st at 2:00 pm at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Rev. Robert Hein will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.
