Corliss M. "Tuff" Flynn, 90, of the town of Auburn, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum, surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 3, 1924, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Mabel (Brown) Kramer, and on July 10, 1943, she was united in marriage to Robert Flynn in Laona. Robert preceded Corliss in death on November 14, 1997.
Corliss enjoyed playing sheepshead sewing, crocheting, needle point and reading. She often made little dolls and clothing for them. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and going to lunch with them. She will be deeply missed by her children, her family and by all who knew her.
Those Corliss leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Donna (Norbert) Gau and David (Susan) Flynn both of Kewaskum and Dale Flynn of the town of Auburn; five grandchildren, Robin (Chuck) Juers, Randy (fiance, Rhonda) Gau, Jason Flynn, Janel (Steve) Olson and Travis Flynn; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon (Dawn) Juers, Jamie (Tim) Lauenstein, Bryanna Juers (special friend, Nick), Daniel Osberg, Mariah Flynn, and Jack, Elliana and Audrey Olson; two great-great grandchildren, Alexis and Austin Juers; a sister, Bev Cornils of New Holstein, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Corliss was preceded in death by a brother, Manville "Curley" (June) Kramer; a sister, Doris (Kenny) Collins and a brother-in-law, Jim Richards.
Funeral services for Corliss will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum with Father Edwin Kornath officiating.
Corliss' family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. Cremation will follow the traditional service.
Corliss' family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Kettle Moraine Gardens and Serenity Hospice for the tender care provided to Corliss.
