Daniel A. Anderson, age 76, of West Bend, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on May 12, 1933 in Ashland to the late Albert and Mary (nee McDonald) Anderson. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. In January of 1961, Daniel was united in marriage to Sharon Stadler in Milwaukee.
He worked for the Steam Fitter's Union in Milwaukee and was a member of the Steam Fitter's Union-Local #601; retiring in 1994.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Sharon of West Bend; his four children, Christine (James) Ertl of Lublin, Eric Anderson of West Bend, Linda (Daniel) Baertlein of Madison and Stephen (Kari Lehmkuhl) Anderson of West Bend; seven grandchildren, C.J. Ertl, Doug Ertl, Sara Anderson, Abbie Anderson, Ian Anderson, Josh Baertlein and Aaron Baertlein; one brother, Allan (Jessie) Anderson of Oxnard, CA; two brothers-in-law, Joe Stadler of Ashland and Jim (Debbie) Stadler of Rockford, IL; and two sisters-in-law Arlene Nicoletti of Herbster and Judie (Wayne) Vanaman of Owasso, OK; other relatives and friends.
In honor of Daniel's wishes, no public service will be held. Cremation took place at Myrhum~Patten Funeral and Cremation Service and burial of his cremated remains will be in St. Agnes Church Cemetery in Ashland.
