Darlean "Digger" Logan (nee Engeldinger), age 78, of West Bend, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend with her loving family by her side.
Darlean was born on July 16, 1935 in Peeksville, WI to the late Benjamin and Nellie (nee Schwartz) Engeldinger. On June 6, 1953 Darlean was united in marriage to Floyd Logan in Glidden, WI. Floyd preceded her in death on September 21, 2010.
Darlean is survived by her eight children, Floyd "Pete" (Sue) Logan Jr. of West Bend, Bobette (Ken) Dischler of Park Falls, Vicki (Al) Beistle of West Bend, Dan (Mary) Logan of West Bend, Stephanie (Rich) Adams of Richfield, Suzette (Aubrey) Baltz of Weston, Jeffrey (Jodi) Logan of West Bend, and Timothy (Kate) Logan of Horicon. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Schultz of West Bend; two brothers, J.W. Engeldinger of Fifield, WI and Raymond (Nola) Engeldinger of Amberg, WI; as well as many other close relatives and friends.
Darlean was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:30 am at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial of Darlean's cremated remains will take place in Butternut Cemetery in Butternut, WI at a later date.
