Darlene E. Roecker, 69, of the town of Lomira, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at her home.
She was born on March 23, 1945, in Horicon, the daughter of the late Reinhold and Edna (Muchmueller) Wendler, and on October 26, 1968, she was united in marriage to Thomas "Reggie" Roecker. Reggie preceded Darlene in death on April 7, 2006.
Darlene was a graduate of Lomira High School. She was a dedicated employee at Regal Ware Inc. in Kewaskum and was a member of the 25-Year Club. Darlene retired in 2011 after 48 years of service.
Those Darlene leaves behind to cherish her memory include two brothers, Ronald (Sharren) Wendler of Byron and Verland (Diane) Wendler of Red Granite; two brothers-in-law, Harry (Lori) Roecker of Kewaskum and Richard Roecker (Jeff Phelps) of Cathedral City, California; a sister-in-law, Jean (Michael) Cornell of Hartford, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Darlene was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Becker and her mother and father-in-law, Ludwig and Bernetta Roecker.
Funeral services for Darlene were held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira. Rev. Eric Kirkegaard officiated and burial was at 9:00 a.m. on Friday in Peace United Church of Christ Cemetery in Kewaskum.
The Roecker family greeted relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
