Darrell John Naumann, age 74, of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at The Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
He was born on May 15, 1937 in West Bend to the late Sylvester "Fat" and Alvinia "Tootie" (nee Fischer) Naumann. Darrell attended Barton and McLane grade school and graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1955. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
Darrell spent most of his career as a station agent for the former REA Express of West Bend. He also worked for a short time at the former Brittingham and Hixon Lumber Company and the West Bend Malt House. He retired in 1998 from Serigraph where he had worked the last 16 years.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend, West Bend Masonic Lodge #138 F &AM, West Bend Moose Lodge #1398 and the Unity Club.
He is survived by three brothers, Adrian "Ace" Naumann, Bruce (Phyllis) Naumann and Glenn (Joann) Naumann all of West Bend; sister-in-law, Carol; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Debi), Garrett, Karla (Shawn) Guerndt, Dawn (Guy) Schumacher, Andrew, Doug (Darlene), Gail (Joel) Freeborn, Steve (Nikky), Kristine (Chuck) Dreher, and Brenda; many great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and friends.
A Masonic Service will be on Saturday, July 23rd at 3:30 pm with Funeral Services in remembrance of Darrell to be held at 4:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 140 N. 7th Ave, West Bend. Revs. David and Cristy Schoob will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm. Burial will be Monday in Union Cemetery, West Bend.
