David G. Bruch, 77, of Iron Ridge, formerly of Appleton, was called Home to the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
He was born on April 17, 1936 in Appleton to the late Dodge and Alma (nee Juhnke) Bruch. After graduating from high school he served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was employed as a draftsman for many years and also worked at various other jobs until retiring due to disability.
He is survived by two children, Tammie Winter of Madison, and Michael Bruch of Appleton; his special friend and long-time companion, Harriet Buchholz of Iron Ridge; seven grandchildren, Erin, Shauna, Brittany, Keagean, Connor, Brandon, and Hallie; four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Zander, Kaylie, and Damon; three nieces, Deidre (Sam) Bacco of Nashville, TN, Toni (Jim) Ferguson of Nashville, TN, and Diana (James) Hobbs of Dallas, TX; great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Shirley Fominaya, and a son-in-law, David Winter.
A funeral service in remembrance of David will be held on Saturday, August, 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 402 Herman St., Iron Ridge. Rev. Elaine Gerth will officiate and burial will follow in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
