David “Dave” A. Brunhart, 69, of Newburg passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024.
He was born on March 16, 1955, to the late Robert Brunhart and Phyllis Painter (nee McCrone) in Milwaukee, WI. As a boy, the family moved to West Bend where Dave attended school. He graduated from West Bend West High School. Dave then went into the Auto Industry where he worked at Young's Royal Ford and went on to Schwister Ford where he met many great friends. He then went on to work on Forklifts with Witco and Conger. Dave was an avid NASCAR fan and collector of NASCAR items, especially items that were Matt Kenseth and Alan Kulwicki. Dave loved many things, but nothing could compare to his love for his family.
Those Dave leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife Bonnie Brunhart; four children, Jessie (Mat) Moser, Christopher O’Flanagan; John (Lisa) O’Flanagan, and Michelle O’Flanagan; eight grandchildren, Shawn Sworske, Noah Backhaus, Reagan Moser, Brystol Moser, Azairah O’Flanagan, Brooklyn O’Flanagan, Michael Kirmse, and Jason Kirmse; two sisters, Kathy (Gordy) Michaels and Lynn Miller; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson Colton Moser and his stepfather, Lloyd Painter.
VISITATION: Dave’s family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.
SERVICE: A family Celebration of Life service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.
