David "Dave" J. Lochen

David “Dave” J. Lochen, 79, of West Bend passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at his home.

He was born on November 23, 1944, to the late Herbert and Eleanor (nee Roden) Lochen in West Bend. Dave graduated from West Bend High School. On December 6, 1969, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Kleman at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg. Dave worked as an assistant manager at Sentry Foods for many years and then worked at Tri-Par until retirement. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Dave enjoyed working around the house, painting and fixing things. He also enjoyed taking car rides and going to Friday fish fries. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Those Dave leaves behind to cherish his memory include his son, Timothy Lochen; two sisters, Rachel Vorpahl and Rose Ann Klos; a brother, Roy (Lois) Lochen; three sisters-in-law, Rita Lochen, Judy (Darwin) Kison, and Cherie (Chris) Larsen; and a brother-in-law, Ed (Julia) Kleman; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Lochen; his son, Jeff Lochen; brother, Paul Lochen; two brothers-in-law, Louis “Joe” Vorpahl and Ronald Klos; and father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Della Kleman.

VISITATION: Dave’s family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 3:45 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

SERVICE: A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be Thursday August 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park.
