Debra “Deb” K. Pahl, 57, of Oshkosh, found peace on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at her home.

She was born on May 27, 1959 to William and Elizabeth (nee Weber) Pahl in Fond du Lac. Deb lived at home with her companion, Maizy, her cat that she adored. Deb graduated from Lomira High School, Valvictorian of her class in 1977. She also attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and graduated with a nursing degree and spent many hours of her life volunteering.

Those Deb leaves behind to cherish her memory include her father, William (Mary Jane) Pahl; her sister, Renee (Norman) Petri; two brothers, Rick (Bonnie) Pahl and Randal Pahl; four step brothers, Jeffrey (Robin) Carter, Scott (fiancée Sheri) Carter, Randy (Shawn) Carter-Brown, and Al Wald; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Pahl and a brother, Daniel Pahl.

It was Deb’s wish that the memorial service be a time of celebration rather than that of mourning. For she knew she was passing into the arms of the Lord, where suffering on this earth has ended. Her life has begun anew rejoice with her in her new body and soul.

The service of celebration of Deb and her life will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer funeral home, 350 Main St., Lomira.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Deb attended the Community Church in Oshkosh and the family would like to extend a special thank you to its members and pastor Allan for their support. They would also like to thank Deb’s CNA, Sara McCorkle for all her compassionate care giving.
