Diana L. Ortlieb, (nee Tesch), age 68, of West Bend, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2007 at the Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
She was born on July 1, 1939 in Wausau to the late Clarence and Lula (nee Wood) Tesch. Diana will be remembered by her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, camping with her family, sewing, and a good cup of coffee. Her hobbies included trap shooting, painting, ceramics, and interior decorating.
Diana is survived by her five children, Sobra (Dave) Horn of Minnesota, Jane (Kevin) Kelly of Random Lake, Sam (Linda) Ortlieb of West Bend, Amy (Barry) Mayhew of Waukesha, and Jesse (Kelly) Ortlieb of West Bend; 11 grandchildren, Alyssa and Travis Horn of Seattle WA, Conor and Erin Kelly of Random Lake, Samantha and Hannah Ortlieb of West Bend, Brandon, Nicolas, and Max Mayhew of Waukesha, and Moriah and Kendra Ortlieb of West Bend. She is further survived by a sister, Charlotte (Ardell) Schultz of Merrill; a brother, Arnold (Gerti) Wood of Wausau, a sister-in-law, Irene Tesch of North Augusta SC; and many other dear relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Sarah Olson, and two brothers, Eugene and Leo Tesch.
A memorial service in celebration of Diana's life will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 1:00 pm, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th St. West Bend). Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, at the church, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
Memorials to the Kathy Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
