Diana L. Tollefson, (nee Nelson), age 61, of Hartford, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
She was born on September 13, 1945 in Black River Falls to the late Ardell and Arlene (nee Miller) Nelson. She moved with her family to Port Washington at a young age. In May of 1965 Diana was united in marriage to Phillip Schuster at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in March of 1974. She then was married to Harry Tollefson in April of 1990 in Jackson. He also preceded her in death in February of 2002.
Diana enjoyed spending time with her family and her favorite pastime was playing cards.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (June) Schuster of Darien; four step-children, Linda (Dennis) Byklum of Grygla, MN, Michael (Sheri) Tollefson of Stewartville, MN, Ember (Enrique) Martinez of Los Angeles, CA, and Heather Smith of LaCrosse, WI; a sister, Debra (Louis) Campasano of Milwaukee; two brothers, Jerry (Judy) Nelson of Salt Lake City, UT, and Ronald (Janice) Nelson of Milwaukee; two sisters-in-law, Delores Johnsrud of Goodridge, MN, and Doris (Donald) Hasby of Hartford; a brother-in-law, Gordon Tollefson of Thief River Falls, MN; her best friend, Carol Brandt of Chicago, IL; special friends, Merlin and Loretta Waechter of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services to remember Diana will be held on Thursday, February 1st at 2:00 pm at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Francis Baiocchi of Jesus Our Shepherd Inclusive Catholic Church in Nenno will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Cremation took place at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service and inurnment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery later in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated by the family.
