Dolores C. Hoeft

Dolores C. Hoeft, nee Bales, age 88, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph's Hospital in the town of Polk.

She was born on May 19, 1919 in the Town of Trenton to the lake Frank and Agnes (nee Bahr) Bales. Dolores graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1936. On June 10, 1941 she was united in marriage to Robert Hoeft at Holy Angels Catholic Church.

In 1945 Dolores and Bob joined St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish and Dolores became an active member of St. Mary's Christian Mothers Society. Dolores and Bob were also active members and former officers of the West Bend Square Steppers from 1955 until 1991.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Robert; four children, Jerry (Sandy) Hoeft of Heathrow, FL, Gene Hoeft of West Bend, Marilyn (John) Tepper of West Bend, and Steven (Debra) Hoeft of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; six grandchildren, Monty (Diane) Hoeft of London, England, Sean and Stephanie Tepper of West Bend, Megan (Kenneth) Aldridge of Winter Springs, FL, Nicholas and Daniel Hoeft of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a great-grandson, Ian Aldridge; a sister Sylvia (Eugene) Belunes of West Bend; two brothers, Alex Bales and Franklin (Margaret) Bales, both of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Bales of West Bend, and Mary Struebing of Plymouth; six brothers-in-law, August Hoeft of Cascade, Walter Hoeft of West Bend, William (Betsy) Hoeft of Green Bay, Paul Hoeft of Cascade, and Walter Belunes of West Bend; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosalie Hoeft; two brothers, Sylvester and his wife Alice Bales, and Raymond Bales; four sisters-in-law, Olive Hoeft, Mae Hoeft, Marie Bales, and Gladys Hoeft; three brothers-in-law, Arthur Hoeft, Hugo Hoeft, and Robert Struebing.

A Mass of Christian Burial in honor of Dolores will be held on Friday, October 19th at 11:00 am, at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish (1610 Monroe St. West Bend). Rev. Robert Bales will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18th at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm with at Vigil Service at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. Memorials to the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired are appreciated. A reception in remembrance of Dolores will follow the burial at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home.
