Donald Leo Frank, age 64 years, of Jackson, WI was called home to be with our Lord on August 11, 2021. Don was born on March 29, 1957 in Milwaukee, WI to Emil and Geraldine (nee Ehley) Frank. He resided in Germantown, WI. He was united in marriage to Linda (nee Thrune) Frank on October 10, 1981 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt, WI. Together they raised their three children Kevin, Katie and Michael.
Don is remembered as a dedicated and hard worker. Later in life, he pursued his dream of becoming a Semi-truck Driver. This led him to new experiences, stories to share and many lifelong friendships along the way.
Don was a humble and kind man. He lived simply and loved hard. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was devoted to his wife and best friend of 40 years. He treasured his time with his children and grandchildren. He bragged about them endlessly. He especially had fun spoiling his grandchildren more than anything. He enjoyed going to the races, sipping on McDonald’s coffee, and being the best dog-dad to his newest companion, Tazer. Don was a man with a huge heart who had friends wherever he went. He always had a smile on his face and never took life too seriously. Many unforgettable laughs and memories were made throughout the years. Don was notorious for calling people by the wrong name, but never forgot a face. He acquired different nicknames throughout the years, “Donny”, “Frank”, and “Frando” to name a few. However, the nickname he was most proud to hold was the one his grandchildren gave him, “Baa”. Life for Lea (Lea-Bear), Jaxton (Bucko), Willow (Cracker-Jack) and Everhett (Evers) will never be the same without their Baa. They remember him as silly, fun, playful and smart. He had a special bond with each one of them. Don was a loving and proud husband, father and grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all. We will always miss hearing his famous words, “Right On” followed by a smirk and a thumbs up.
Those Don leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Linda. His children Kevin (Amanda) Frank and Katie (Jason) Palmer and his four grandchildren. Further survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and brother Stephen, Don is finally reunited in Heaven with his adored son, Michael.
Matthew 11:28 - “Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”.
