Donald A. “Don” Rasbornik, 76, of the town of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
He was born on October 5, 1933, in Milwaukee, the son of the late John and Mary (Andrajnia) Rasbornik, and on November 8, 1951, he was united in marriage to Audrey Heckel in Milwaukee.
Don was employed by the Milwaukee Public School Board, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and served as president of the former Holy Name Society and on the board of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. He was a bus driver for the Campbellsport School District and enjoyed fishing. Don will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.
Those Don leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Audrey; three children, Rickey (Lynne) Rasbornik of Menomonee Falls, Gail (Lee) Tillman of Mobile, Alabama and Tracy Trevorrow of Campbellsport; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a brother, John Frank Rasbornik.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Don was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial followed in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Campbellsport.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
