Donald “Butch” E. Plzak, of Gillett, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
He was born on Sept 20, 1959, to Eugene Plzak and Donna (nee Conley) Klein in West Bend, WI. Don graduated from Lomira High School. After high school, he went onto pursue a career in culinary arts. After that, he spent the rest of his career in the trucking industry with Sundberg Trucking and Karl's Transport. He enjoyed spending time in the community with the Suring Antique Tractor Association and Suring Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid dog lover and would never be far from his Schnauzers. Snickers and Oreo, his current Schnauzer pups, who are currently missing him. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Those Don leaves behind to cherish his memory include his partner, Daniel Kolbow; his mother, Donna Klein; five sisters, Patricia Plzak Gilles, Deborah (Gary Bunker) Cichocki, Victoria (Gary) Mulder, Mary (Douglas) Kiehnau, and Jean (Randy) Anderson; a brother, Timothy (Deb) Plzak; niece, Jennifer; nephews, Dereck and Eugene; four sisters-in-law, Karen (Jim) Lombard, Chrissy (Fiancé Wayne) Kolbow, Barbara (Jamie) Phenis, and Janet (Isadore) Alamo; four brothers-in-law, Dennis (Heidi) Kolbow, Davey Kolbow, Ken (Shelly) Kolbow, and Donald (Candy) Kolbow; many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Plzak; two brothers, Anthony Plzak and Russell Plzak; stepfather, Richard Klein; and sister-in-law, Penny Diesch.
VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 350 Main St., Lomira, on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m.
SERVICE: A funeral service in remembrance of Don will be at the funeral home on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.
