Donna Mae Luther (nee Redmann)

Donna Mae Luther (nee Redmann), 88, passed away on February 16, 2025.

 Donna was born on May 25, 1936, in the town of LeRoy to the late Bruno and Edna (nee Wiese) Redmann. She was united in marriage to Arnold Luther on October 20,1956 in Waupun. Arnold passed away on April 27, 2005. Donna was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Lomira where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. She worked at Maysteel in Mayville and later at Gleason Reel in Mayville before retiring in 1998. Donna enjoyed traveling, touring around the lower 48 States, Canada, and Mexico. She loved being with her family, reading, and doing jig saw puzzles.

Those left to cherish Donna’s memory include her children, Ricki (Terri) Luther, Mark (Joan) Luther, and Gregg (Stella) Luther; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Shawn) Gardner, Erik (Heidi) Luther, Angela Luther, Kimberly (Adam) Luther, Nicholas (Brittany) Luther, Dustin (Megan) Luther, and Katrina (Matt) Wiedmeyer; thirteen great grandchildren, Tabatha Zachary, Samantha and Alexis MaKaylee, Autumn Madison, Jordan, Cheyenne, Hannah, Landon, Loreli, Damien, Parker, Levi, Winslet, Elizabeth, Alexander, Hannah, Brendan and Tristan; seven great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Shady, Bette (David) Wild, and Judy (James) Weber; sister in-law, Diane Redmann; many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna is preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Redmann, Junior Redmann, Ronald Redmann, and Larry Redmann; brother in-laws, Norman Shady and James Weber; sister in-law, Carole Redmann; many brothers and sister in-laws on Arnolds side.

VISITATION: Donna’s family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at Trinity Methodist Church, 300 Church Street, Lomira. 

FUNERAL SERVICE: A funeral service for Donna will take place at 12:00 p.m. following visitation with Reverend Mulongo Mpoyo officiating the service. The burial will take place at Salem Cemetery.
