Donnah I. Buttke

Donnah I. Buttke, nee Larson, 79, of West Bend, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center, West Bend.

She was born on November 2, 1925 in Mondovi, WI to the late Henry and Luella (nee Thompson) Larson, Sr. She was united in marriage to Harry Buttke on February 24, 1946 in Alma Center, WI. After their marriage they lived in Germantown and later Jackson. Her husband preceded her in death on June 9, 1989. In 1991 Donnah moved to West Bend.

Donnah was employed at Searle Medical supply in Jackson for 11 years and then she cleaned at Good Year Tire until retiring 1998. She was a member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church in West Bend where she was an active volunteer. She enjoyed sewing for herself and others and she made hundreds of lap quilts for nursing homes. She also enjoyed puzzles.

She is survived by 2 children, Alana (Leslie) Dalton and Alan (Jody) Buttke, both of West Bend; a grandson, Dean (fiancAC. Christina Seiser) Buttke of Iron Ridge; four sisters, LaVere Galster, LaVonne Anderson, Ellen Jean Peterson, and Maureen (Donald) Roberts; two brothers, Henry (Shirley) Larson, Jr. and Loyal Larson; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Jacobson, Ester Buttke, and Lillian Buttke; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Buttke; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend. Rev. Jon Bartlett of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
