Dorothea “Dorothy” L. Wiepking, 93, of Brownsville, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the Crossroads Care Center in Mayville.

Dorothy was born on March 28, 1924, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Herbert and Johanna (nee Karnitz) Tenbroeke.   She attended North Division High School and then went on to Vocational School.  Dorothy worked at Ideal Shoe Factory and also did filing at a local factory.   She was united in marriage to Fred Wiepking on April 7, 1956, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Grafton.  Dorothy and Fred farmed on the family homestead in Cedarburg until 1980.   They then moved to Brownsville and continued to farm there.  Fred preceded Dorothy in death on October 31, 2010.

Those Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory include three sons, Gary (Kimberly) Wiepking of Brownsville, Brian (Wanda) Wiepking of Theresa, and Craig (Mary) Wiepking of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Samuel, Kathryn, and Timothy Wiepking, and Alexander Wiepking; two sisters, Arlene (Tom) Tambellini of Hartford and Karen Najera of Menomonee Falls; a brother, Marvin (Vita) Tenbroeke of Phoenix, AZ; a sister-in-law, Marion Tenbroeke of Menomonee Falls; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Arthur Tenbroeke and a sister, Shirley (Alexander) Cazessus.
