Dorothy Mae Glorioso

November 21, 1918 — January 1, 2010

Dorothy Mae Glorioso, (nee Chartrand), age 91, of West Bend, passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on November 21, 1918 in Sault Ste Marie, MI to the late Damase and Maud (nee Morley) Chartrand, and was united in marriage to Anthony "Tony" Glorioso on November 21, 1938 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sault Ste Marie, MI.

After their marriage they moved to Milwaukee where Dorothy and Tony owned and operated the former Chuck Wagon Restaurant, which closed in 1976. In 1976 they moved to Las Vegas. Tony preceded her in death in 1992, and Dorothy moved back to Milwaukee in 1993. Her final move was to West Bend in 1998.

Dorothy was a member of Blessed Savior Catholic Church in Milwaukee (formerly St. Corpus Christi Catholic Church). She enjoyed reading, puzzle books, and playing cribbage. She is the loving mother of the late Marion ("Cotton") Anderson. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Gail) Glorioso of Saukville; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mills of Brimley, MI; and a thank you to a special niece Janet (Charles) Oleson of Colgate. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers

Funeral services in remembrance of Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, January 5th at 6:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington Street) West Bend. Rev. Gregory Crycinski of Blessed Savior Catholic Church will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the time of the service.
