Dorothy G. Kral, 89, of Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk with her son and daughter-in-law at her side.


She was born on December 6, 1920, in Elmore, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Becker) Sabish, and on February 3, 1940, she was united in marriage to Alfred Kral at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Alfred preceded Dorothy in death on June 7, 1986.


Dorothy was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.


Those Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, Mark (Joyce) Kral of Kewaskum; a grandson, Erik (Tammy) Kral of Kewaskum; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Brooklyn Kral, other relatives and friends.


In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred (Clarence) Thill and Helen (Gregor) Harter; a brother, Alois (Marcella) Sabish, five sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.


A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday in the parish cemetery.


Relatives and friends may call on Sunday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.


Memorials to Holy Trinity Catholic School, St. Lucas Lutheran School, Kathy Hospice or the charity of one’s choice are appreciated.


Dorothy’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Dorothy’s dear friend, Isabelle Muckerheide, her neighbors and friends who assisted Dorothy over the years, to the Kewaskum Police and Kewaskum Rescue Squad for their prompt response during Dorothy’s time of need, to Dr. Mosley, the second floor nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Cedar Crossings at Pleasant Valley staff, Cedar Lake Home Care and Hospice staff, and Kathy Hospice staff for the compassionate care provided to Dorothy.
