Douglas A. Jurgilanis, age 61, of West Bend, passed away Wed. April 24, 2013.
He was born on April 26, 1951 in Oconto Falls and married Ann "Penny" Schultz on Oct. 2, 1976. Doug graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in education and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Technology with a degree in computer science. Career opportunities took Doug and Ann to Los Angeles, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Pittsburgh, PA, and Milwaukee, WI. Over the years, Doug worked for the U.S. Postal Service, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Charter Manufacturing, and Harley-Davidson. Doug was an avid fisherman, golfer, and a big fan of Packers football and all Badger sports. On Wisconsin!
He is survived by his wife, Ann "Penny" Schultz; a brother, Kevin (Denise) Jurgilanis; a sister, Tami Havens; nieces and nephews, Andrea, Adam, Chase, Wynter, Gabby, Teddy and Nick; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and LaRayne Jurgilanis, and a sister, Candace Jurgilanis.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
