Dwight Craig Meinholz, 79, of West Bend went to meet his Lord and Savior peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
Dwight was born in Madison, WI on December 28, 1943, to the late Amand and Evelyn (nee Anderson) Meinholz. Dwight loved sharing the word of God with anyone who would (or wouldn’t) listen. He fully enjoyed life and had so many interests: muscle cars, motorcycles, guns, McDonald's Diet Coke, being in the woods, cutting wood, watching tractor pulls and drag racing, playing euchre; watching grandkids singing, performing, swimming in the family pool and playing sports. He LOVED being at the cabin and most of all absolutely LOVED being with his family!
Dwight will be dearly missed by his wife of 57 years, Rita Meinholz (nee Templin); children, Wendi (Wayne) Barczynski, Dwight (Renee) Meinholz, Aaron (Lisa) Meinholz; grandchildren, Ashely (Travis) Harrell, Josh (Kalie) Worthing, Jordan (Sara) Worthing, Alida Worthing, Austin, Taylor, Noah, Logan & Colin Meinholz; great-grandchildren, Cash, June, Dean, Gideon, Brinley, Bentley, David, Joslynn, Rory, Jensen, Havala, Octavia, and Cedar; a brother, Ron (Cindy) Meinholz; two sisters-in-law, Carol Wagner and Beverly (Rich) Meyer; nieces, nephews, other loved relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gerald Wagner, and two sisters-in-law, Lorraine (John) Giebel and Roberta Zodrow.
A Celebration of Life in remembrance of Dwight will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at West Bend Community Church, 2005 S. Main Street, West Bend, WI 53095.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
