Earl W. Kleinke

Earl W. Kleinke, 63, of Kewaskum, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at his home.


He was born on August 24, 1948, in West Bend, the son of the late Marvin and Dolores (Heberer) Kleinke, and on August 25, 1973, he was united in marriage to Marie Ebert at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.


Earl was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum, Kewaskum Lions Club, New Fane Sportsman’s Club, Campbellsport Sportsman’s Club, Kettle Moraine Sportsman’s Club and a charter member of Wings over Wisconsin and Gateway Gobblers. He was a bus driver for Johnson School Bus Service in Kewaskum for 24 years, and Earl and Marie were the owners and operators of Amerahn Hall and Tavern in Kewaskum for 32 years.


Those Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Marie; two sons, Brian (Jennifer) Kleinke and Adam Kleinke both of Kewaskum; four grandsons, Xander, Xavier, Xane and Xackary Kleinke; three brothers, Charles Kleinke of Kewaskum, Cliff (Alice) Kleinke of Eau Claire and Edmond (Nancy) Kleinke of West Bend; four sisters, Yvonne (Bruce) Schumacher of St. Paul, Minnesota, Annette Wienke of Milwaukee, Suzette (Val) Fischer of Dayton, Ohio and Claudette (Jim) Guell of Eden, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.


Funeral services for Earl were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and burial followed in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.


Relatives and friends called at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.


The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Earl’s arrangements.
