Earl C. Meyer Jr. 59, of Kewaskum, passed away peacefully on March 25th 2018 at Kathy Hospice in Town of Polk.
He was born on October 28th 1958 to Ada (nee Heaslip) Meyer Baeckmann and Earl C. Meyer Sr. in Madison Wisconsin. On April 13th 1991 he was united in marriage to Christine Jung in Fillmore Wisconsin. Earl was a proud Army Veteran and a Lifetime VFW Member. Earl had many careers in his lifetime including a Cross Country Truck Driver, Diesel Mechanic in the Army, Bus driver, Various factory jobs, and his most recent job at Bradley Corporation for 20 years of being a Terreon counter Fabricator where he retired after having his DBS Surgery for Parkinson's. He loved working on vehicles, going camping, motorcycling, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed helping people including his father with numerous remodeling projects. Earl Jr. and his father Earl Sr. were two peas in a pod. Earl had a lot of ups and downs these last years but he never complained. Earl was an amazing husband and a great father. He loved spending time with his kids and the great adventures they would get in to. He will be greatly missed but now he is made whole and we are at peace knowing this.
Those Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife Christine; his children, Earl III (Samantha) Meyer, Angelica (Eric) Wachdorf, Bryan (Amber) Meyer and their children Jayla and Oliver Meyer; his father Earl (Joan) Meyer Sr.; his siblings, Cheryl (Dean) Larson, Anita Day, Michael (Linda) Meyer, Dawn Meyer, Kenneth (Kelly) Meyer; his mother-in-law, Shirley Jung; his brothers-in-law, Vernon Jung Jr, David (Stephanie) Jung, Jeff Klister, and Steve (Christine) Jung; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends from all over the world.
He was preceded in death by his oldest daughter Morgan Naomi Meyer; an infant Brother, Theodore “Teddy” Meyer; his mother, Ada Meyer Baeckmann; his stepfather, Roger Baeckmann; brother-in-law, Rick Day; father-in-law Vernon H. Jung Sr.; maternal and paternal grandparents, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service in remembrance of Earl will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W Washington St., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
