Earl F. Petri, 81, of Kewaskum, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Samaritan Nursing Home in West Bend.
He was born on December 13, 1933, in the town of Wayne, the son of the late Wendell and Sophie (Amerling) Petri and on November 23, 1957, he was united in marriage to Martha Gúnther in Núrnberg-Fúrth, Germany.
Earl was a loving man who enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. He also enjoyed airplanes and photography.
Those Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Martha; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Moats of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Jim (Judy) Andrews of Neenah, Joshua Moats of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Jacob Moats of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Eileen Petri of Kewaskum and Lucille Petri of West Bend, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris (Tommy) Kluever and Ione (Lee) Honek and three brothers, Myron (Bernice) Petri, Bruce Petri and John Petri.
Funeral Services for Earl will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath will officiate and cremation will follow the traditional service.
Earl's family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until the time of services.
The Family extends their heartfelt appreciation to both the staff at Samaritan Nursing Home in West Bend and Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum for their care of Earl.
