Edgar P. Wolf

July 14, 1920 — March 27, 2005

Edgar P. Wolf, age 84, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005 at St. Joseph's Community Hospital in West Bend.

He was born on July 14, 1920 in the town of Polk to the late Jacob and Anna (nee Dornacker) Wolf, Jr. Growing up he attended Nabob Elementary School and West Bend High School.

He was united in marriage to Mildred Schladweiler on January 17, 1942. Shortly after his marriage he enlisted in the United States Navy and served during World War II. Upon his return from the Navy, Edgar began a career as a tool and die journeyman and enjoyed working at various shops throughout his career.

His first wife, Mildred, preceded him in death on May 3, 1959. He then married Ann Klink on June 16, 1960 at the Shrine of Mary at Holy Hill in Washington County.

Edgar was an avid fisherman and hunter; and he always enjoyed a good game of sheepshead.

He is survived by his wife Ann; three children, Gerald (Darlene) Wolf, Gail (special friend Lambert Neuburg) Thelen and Ronald (Dianne) Kircher; eight grandchildren, Michael (De) Wolf, Kristine (Beckett) Eisenreich, Steven Wolf, Jody (Cara) Thelen, Jill (Michael) Kufahl, Amanda Thelen, Deanna Kircher, and Richard Kircher; eight great-grandchildren; six brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clark, Werner, and Stanley Wolf; four brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 7:00 pm at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church, West Bend. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be on Thursday at 10:00 am in the old St. Mary's Cemetery, West Bend.

Memorials to St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
