Edith M. (Miller) Koerble

October 15, 1926 — February 9, 2017

Edith M. Koerble (nee Miller), 90, of Campbellsport, passed away on Thursday, February 09, 2017 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.

She was born on October 15, 1926 to the late Joseph and Marjorie (nee Gorman) Miller in West Bend. On June 14, 1947, she was united in marriage to Donald Koerble at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend. Edith served in the Kewaskum school district for many years. She was a member of the women’s club of Kewaskum. Her and Don enjoyed travel to many places together. She liked to bake, craft and knit hats for all her family and children throughout the world. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Edith leaves behind to cherish her memory include her five children, Susan (Michael) Marx of Kewaskum, Thomas (Beverly) Koerble of Beloit, Jean Bleskacek of Elmwood, Ann Wood of Elmwood and John (Linda) Koerble of West Bend; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Pearl Juech; three sisters-in-law, Lillian Miller of West Bend, Betty (William) Homuth of West Bend, and Valeria Strobel of Campbellsport; a brother-in-law, Carl Groth of Madison; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Koerble; a daughter, Mary Mattox; a twin sister, Ethel Groth; a brother, Joseph Miller Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Darwin Juech.

A Mass of Christian Burial in remembrance of Edith will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hill Catholic church, W1562 County Rd. B, Eden. Burial will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic church cemetery, West Bend.

A visitation will be on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer funeral home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

A visitation will also be at the church on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
