Edna Mary Ruplinger

June 23, 1923 — November 29, 2015

Edna M. Ruplinger, 92, of Kewaskum, formerly of St. Kilian, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum, with her family at her side.

Edna was born on June 23, 1923 in St. Kilian, the daughter of the late Bernard and Barbara (Hurth) Wondra. On September 27, 1945, she was united in marriage to John Ruplinger at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. John preceded Edna in death on September 29, 2001.

Edna was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. She was employed by Regal Ware for many years and was a member of the 25 Year Club and a member of the XYZ Club. Edna enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for having her Twinkies and frozen treats for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edna will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and by all who knew her.

Those Edna leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Donald (Barb) Ruplinger of Kewaskum, Sharon (Calvin) Rauch of Campbellsport, and Mary (Dennis) Junk and Mike Ruplinger both of Kewaskum; a daughter-in-law, Ann Ruplinger of  Kewaskum; nine grandchildren, Lisa (Jeff) Czerwinski, Bret Rauch, Tracy (Beau) Coulter, Jay Ruplinger, Julie Ruplinger, Jeremy (Katie) Ruplinger, Becky (Dan) Beimborn, Josh Ruplinger and Jacob (Liza) Junk; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Don) Lichtensteiger of Campbellsport, Audrey Ruplinger of St. Kilian and Lillian Wondra of Mayville, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Edna was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Ruplinger and two brothers, Earl Wondra and Sylvester (Betty) Wondra.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Edna will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.

Edna’s family and friends will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Father Edwin Kornath will be officiating and burial will take place on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the parish cemetery.
