Edward H. Kirsch, 70, of the town of Auburn, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2009, at his home.
He was born on October 27, 1938, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Arthur and Edith (Herman) Kirsch, and he proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Berlin Crisis.
Edward was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum.
Survivors include three sons, Edward Kirsch of Littlefork, Minnesota, Robert (Lisa) Kirsch of Grayslake, Illinois and Bill (Marlene) Kirsch of Campbellsport; a godson, Paul Ernst of Random Lake; a sister-in-law, Katherine Ernst of Random Lake; a grandson, Jack, other relatives, friends and his special canine companion, Peanut.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Farley.
Funeral services for Edward were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009, at Peace United Church of Christ, 343 First Street in Kewaskum. Rev. William Wiederanders officiated and burial, with military graveside honor rites by the Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384 Kewaskum, followed in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Friday at the church from noon until the time of services.
