Edward A. Podjaski

Edward A. Podjaski, 78, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2006 at his residence.

He was born on July 13, 1927 in Stevens Point to the late Frank and Mary (nee Wanta) Podjaski. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during WWII. He worked as an auto body repairman and was employed at Slocum Pontiac in Greenfield for 23 years until his retirement. On June 15, 1985 he married Renata Rindfleisch in Wauwatosa.

He is survived by his wife, Renata; three children, Terry (Mike) Batson of Franklin, Toni Kutner of West Allis, and Jo Ann Podjaski of Surprise, Arizona; five step-children, David Copp of Minnesota, Candice (David) Siefert of Sheboygan, Laurel (Brad) Rose of Mequon, Gary (Kristie) Copp of Florida, and Julie (Mike) Kidd of West Bend; two sisters, Irene Kedrowski of Hatley, and Del Hansen of Milwaukee; 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest Podjaski, Frank Podjaski, and Valeryaxi Podjaski; and a sister, Angeline Bronk.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 10 at 4:00 p.m. at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend, with Rev. Jeffery Haines of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Cremation will follow the service with burial of the cremated remains in Wildwood Cemetery, Sheboygan.
