Edward J. Roberts, 79, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017, at his home, with his family at his side.
Edward was born on December 4, 1937, in Michigan, the son of the late Floyd and Cloie (Holsclaw) Roberts. On November 27, 1965, he was united in marriage to Ramona Sierra in Milwaukee.
Edward was a diehard Packer and Brewer fan. He enjoyed camping, bowling, trivia, puzzles of all kinds, but what he loved the most was his family. Edward was proud to be a USAF veteran.
Those Edward leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Ramona; two children, Sandy (Randy) Schulz of Theresa and Donovan Roberts of Addison; three grandchildren, Casey (Travis) Luy, Kayla Roberts, and Carson Schulz; two great grandchildren, Alice and Wyatt Luy; a brother, Michael (Linda) Roberts; five sisters, Patricia Brey, Mary Maki, Linda (Loren) Davey, Carolyn Noble, and Rebecca (Ronald) Hess; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a son, Gustave Roberts; two brothers, Floyd Roberts Jr. and James Roberts; a sister, Eleanor (Kenneth) Hixon; three brothers-in-law, Joseph Brey, Robert Maki, and Michael Noble.
A memorial Mass for Edward will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1610 Monroe Street, in West Bend with Rev. Justin Lopina officiating.
