Elaine A. (Lang) Andrews

Elaine A. Andrews (nee Lang), 94, of Berlin formerly of West Bend found peace on Sunday August 11, 2019 with her family by her side.

She was born on April 8, 1925 to the late Louis and Pearl (nee Hausbeck) in Bay City MI. On November 10, 1950 she was united in marriage to Robert Andrews in Bay City MI. Together they enjoyed 52 years of marriage until Robert’s passing in October of 2002. Elaine worked for Dow Chemical in Michigan for many years. She later worked for Green Lake County as Deputy County Clerk for a number of years before finishing her career in Washington County as Deputy County Treasurer. Elaine loved golfing, traveling, and cooking large holiday meals that everyone looked forward to, especially her apple pie. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, making baby blankets and Christmas stockings for all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elaine was blessed with many friends over the years. In recent years, Joanne and Debbie provided her with much comfort and companionship. We hope she is now “catching up” with those many friends that have passed before her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those Elaine leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Christine (Harold Schultz) Harmsen, Michael (Maureen) Andrews, Elizabeth “Liz” (Steve) Otto; four grandchildren, Susan (Tyler) Voigt, Jared (Fiancé Andi Galka) Otto, Katherine (Kyle) Lietzau, and Bradley (Whitney) Otto; six great grandchildren with one more on the way; and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrews and her brother, Louis “Stu” (Sylvia) Lang.

A memorial service in remembrance of Elaine will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
