Elanor J. Siegel, nee Clarke, 95, of West Bend, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at her residence.
She was born on December 27, 1913 in Beloit to the late James and Tina (nee Moffitt) Clarke. She was united in marriage to Edmund F. Siegel on September 4, 1937 in Beloit. In 1981 they moved from Burlington, Iowa to West Bend. Edmund passed away on December 28, 1990.
Eleanor was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship and P.E.O. While in Burlington, Iowa, she had been active in her church and Women's Club. Eleanor also enjoyed playing Bridge.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie (David) Koepnick of Newburn, NC, and Jean Wolff of West Bend; six grandchildren, David (Joanne) Koepnick of Kerry, NC, Jennifer (Billy) Poplin of Greenville, NC, Scott (Melissa) Wolff of West Bend, Todd (Kelly) Wolff of West Bend, Todd (Corrine) Wolff of Slinger, and Charlotte (Bob) Martin of West Bend; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service in remembrance of Elanor will be held on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Rev. Luke Emerich will officiate and burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Beloit. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service.
