Eleanor M. Enright, 94, of Random Lake, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011, in hospice care at St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon.
She was born on June 6, 1917, in the town of West Bend, the daughter of the late Edward and Caroline (Wagner) Bohn. Eleanor was a 1935 graduate of West Bend High School, and on May 10, 1941, she was united in marriage to Merlin Enright at St. John of God Catholic Church in the town of Farmington. The couple farmed in the town of Farmington and later in the town of Sherman until retiring in June of 1977. Merlin preceded Eleanor in death on November 21, 2010.
Eleanor was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Parish in Random Lake and Our Lady of the Lakes Christian Women Society.
She enjoyed playing cards with her family and also in her card clubs. She often played bingo at Oneida, the Moose Hall and in Kewaskum. The people that were lucky enough to know Eleanor became better people because of that. She was a wonderful person and our memories of her will never be forgotten.
Those Eleanor leaves behind to cherish her memory include five children, William “Bill” Enright and Kathleen (John) Schairer both of Kewaskum, Ann (Harold) Schnorenberg of West Bend, Mary Enright of Campbellsport and Ruth Mueller of West Bend; seven grandchildren, Mark Schairer (fiancée, Julie Frederick), Matt Schairer (special friend, Jackie Wernick), Robert Schnorenberg (Alyssa Paul), Richard Schnorenberg, Christopher Enright (special friend, Danielle Widder), Lindsey Mueller and Daniel Mueller; a great-granddaughter, Bryn Schairer; three brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Janet) Enright of the town of Farmington, Joseph (Ann) Enright of Boltonville and Gerald (Cordell) Enright of Kewaskum; four sisters-in-law, Janet Mleczek of Milwaukee, Marie Hintz of the town of Scott, Marion Bohn of West Bend and Eleanor Bohn of Sheboygan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Bales and Marie Minz and three brothers, Philip, Edward and Raymond Bohn.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor was held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Parish, 230 Butler Street in Random Lake.
