Elizabeth Fromm, nee Frank, age 89, of the town of Barton, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha.
She was born on June 8, 1922 in Milwaukee to the late Steve and Margaret (nee Kehl) Frank. On November 25, 1939, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Carl Frank in West Allis. In 1965, they moved to West Bend. Carl preceded her in death on September 23, 2009.
She worked for Johnson Controls as a drill press operator. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Carol Fromm of Brookfield; two granddaughters, Dawn (Greg) Kaye of Brookfield and Debra (Scott) Spence of Kissimmee, FL; eight great-grandchildren, Rachel, Alexander, Austin, Gabrielle, and Greg Kaye, Jarrett, Cole and Merissa Spence; one brother, George (Lorraine) Frank of Milwaukee; nieces, other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and her daughter, Shirley Ann.
Private family funeral services in remembrance of Elizabeth will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 12:00 pm (noon) at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend. Rev. William Dushek will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the services. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
