Elmer H. Klumb, age 82, of West Bend, passed away Friday June 30, 2006 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on July 22, 1923 on the family homestead farm in the Town of Barton to the late Edwin and Ella (nee Seefeldt) Klumb. He spent his life farming on the family farm until he retired in 1979. Elmer then moved to West Bend.
Elmer was a former member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Wayne.
He is survived by 13 cousins, Lucille Jacklin, Howard (Viola) Proeber, Herbert (LaNore) Klumb, Harriet (William) Kolbe, Naomi Klumb, Raymond (Etta) Proeber, Marie Taylor, Ronald (Joanne) Klumb, Harold (Iris) Seefeldt, Allen (Lucille) Seefeldt, Eleanore (Leslie) Ostrander, William (Irene) Seefeldt, and Harold (Charlotte) Klug; a special friend Margaret Bedenbaugh; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother who died in infancy.
Memorial services to remember Elmer's life will be held on Friday July 7th at 2:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Paul Reede will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials to St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated. Cremation was handled through Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service.
