Elmo E. Prusik

Elmo Earl Prusik, age 85, of Milwaukee, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee.

He was born on September 30, 1923 to Adolf and Otelia (nee Tatosky) Prusik in Shawano, WI. Elmo graduated from Shawano High School. After his discharge from the U.S. Army, he worked as a machinist for Alco and Woodrow-Brickcyus in Milwaukee, and Wacker Manufacturing in Hartford. Elmo loved animals, enjoyed woodworking and doing crossword puzzles. He also found pleasure in helping the elderly with their taxes.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kathy (Tim) Connors of Skandia, MI, Jean (Dave) Garbisch of Random Lake, Nancy (Steve) Ramsey of Hendersonville, TN; one step-daughter, Lowana (Bruce) McCalvy of Milwaukee; one daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Blair-Prusik; seven grandchildren, Timothy (Jennifer) Connors, Jennifer (Glenn) Connors-Merrill, Dana, Eric and Kayla Garbisch, Aidan and Helen Ramsey; four step-grandchildren, Tina Dalton, Martin Enriquez, Brian Paul and Josh Paul; and three great-grandchildren, Claudia, Matthew and Calissa Connors.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; his son, Alan Prusik; three brothers, Bernard, Joseph and Norman Prusik; and his sister, Evelyn.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 18th, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Flowers at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, with entombment following. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
