Esther Otto, nee Ritterbusch, of West Bend passed away Wednesday, September 10th at the age of 92.
She was born December 3, 1915 in the Town of Trenton to Walter and Anna (nee Dettmann) Ritterbusch. She married Traugott Otto at Trinity Lutheran Church on Pleasant Valley Road in the Town of Jackson on February 7, 1942. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Trenton until their retirement in 1971, when they moved to West Bend. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend.
Esther is survived by her children, Lorna (Edward) Wilger of the Town of Trenton and Paul (Charlene) Otto of the Town of Erin; her grandson, Jason (Sarah) Otto; her four step grandchildren, Dawn (Ronald) Graff, Todd (Kohonna) Wittenburg, Rusty (Jenny) Wittenburg, and Danielle Hayburn; one great-grandson, Payden Paul Otto; eight great-step grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Beata (Junier) Ehlke and Veronica Dohrwardt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Traugott; her son, Howard; and her sister, Doris Krueger.
Funeral services for Esther Otto will be held on Sunday, September 14th at 7:00 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Avenue, West Bend. Visitation will be at the church only on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15th in Washington County Memorial Park.
