Esther "Honey" Striepling, (nee Linden) age 85, of Menomonee Falls, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Menomonee Falls Healthcare Center, Menomonee Falls.
She was born on July 14, 1923 in Milwaukee to the late Paul and Esther (nee Meyer) Linden. On September 21, 1946, Esther was united in marriage to George Striepling at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Del) Schmechel of Hubertus; two grandsons, Todd (Norene) Schmechel of Menomonee Falls, and Troy (Tannille) Schmechel of Slinger; six great-grandchildren, Karissa, Elizabeth, Cynthia, Madi, Emma and Aiden; a sister, Kathryn Jakubiak of Milwaukee; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Linden; two brothers, Paul (Edith) Linden, James (Tommy) Linden; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Jakubiak.
Private services in honor of Esther have been held.
