Eunice M. Schaeffer, 80, of Kewaskum, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend.
She was born on January 14, 1933, in the town of Holland, the daughter of the late Leonard and Cecelia (Bode) Fox, and on September 5, 1953, she was united in marriage to Gerald “Buddy” Schaeffer at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada. Buddy preceded Eunice in death on July 26, 2011.
Eunice was a 1952 graduate of Random Lake High School and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
Those Eunice leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Jim (Nancy) Schaeffer of Penfield, New York, Rita (Ken) Frank of West Bend and Elaine (Ken) Miller of Phoenix, Arizona; six grandchildren, Rhonda (Frank) Kuge, Jesse Williams, Barbara Williams, Craig Frank, Alex Schaeffer and Nick Schaeffer; three great-grandchildren, Lily Williams, Kara and Colin Kuge, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eunice was preceded in death by a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Eunice will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum has been entrusted with Eunice’s arrangements.
