Eunice M. Yeadeke, 94, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on April 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Bastian) Manthei.
Those Eunice leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Audrey (Cal) Thelen of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Jeanne (Tom) Griep of Horicon, Larry Yeadeke of Braedenton, Florida and Jerri (Jim) Klein of Cascade; five grandchildren, Lisa, Dan, and Mike Thelen, Jessica Boylen and Jacob Klein; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth (Ronald) Tacke of Brown Deer and Deanna Manthei (special friend, Gene Chapman) of Whitefish Bay, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by a son, Roger Yeadeke; six brothers, Harold Manthei, Lyle (Beatrice) Manthei, Earl Manthei, Arthur Manthei Jr., Edward Manthei and Willard "Squinty" Manthei and three sisters, Dorothy Stahnke, Harriet Manthei and Shirley (Leander) Fellenz.
Private funeral services for Eunice were held at Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum and burial was at Peace United Church of Christ Cemetery in Kewaskum.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Kathy Hospice for their excellent care provided to Eunice and their support to her family through this difficult time.
