Everett W. Strehmel Jr., 64, of Allenton was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 17, 2018
He was born on February 22, 1954 to the late Everett and Hilda (nee Muehlius) Strehmel Sr. Everett worked as a truck driver for many years as well as drove school bus. On July 26, 1997 he was united in marriage to Donna Held at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum. Everett was always tinkering with things, he liked fixing or building things. He enjoyed racing cars and was a huge NASCAR fan. He loved to go camping and decorating for Christmas. Everett especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. He will be missed by all who knew him as well as his favorite dog Abby.
Those Everett leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna Strehmel; four step children, Jason (Jolene) Burmeister, Eric Burmeister, Angela Burmeister, and Tanya Held; five step-grandchildren, Cierra Burmeister, Tyler Burmeister, Emily Burmeister, James Sterbenz, and Jayden Sterbenz; three sisters, Shirley Perkins, Beverly (David) Bartelt, and Sandra (David) Sterr; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service in remembrance of Everett will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Peace United Church of Christ, 343 First St., Kewaskum.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
