Faith L. Heinze (nee Husaboe), age 87, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012.
She was born on January 26, 1925 in Trent, South Dakota to the late Maxwell and Ida (nee Eastman) Husaboe. On April 18, 1949 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Marion Heinze, in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
Faith was a very kindhearted, selfless, and generous person. She was an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the American Red Cross.
She was a member of the West Bend Lioness Club, West Bend Women's Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. Faith was an avid quilter, loved playing bridge and was a member of various clubs over the years.
Faith is survived by her three children, Mark (Jean) Heinze, Keith (Bridget) Heinze, and Carol (Joseph) Hurley; 14 grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Alyssa, Daniel, Abigail, and Amy Heinze, Kalli (Alex) Keddie, Nathan, Sidney, and Mackenzie Heinze, and Paul, Thomas, Kelly, and Kate Hurley; two sisters, Joyce and Maxine (Roger); other dear relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Frances (Dick); her brother, Lyle; and her brother-in-law, Gordon.
Funeral services in remembrance of Faith will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 1:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Burial will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.
Memorials in honor of Faith may be directed to the Fisher House, or to the American Diabetes Association.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Froedtert Medical Center, Jackson Crossing, Home Instead Senior Care and Cedar Community for all of the wonderful care and support that was given to Faith and her family over the past year.
