Florence Viola Graff

Florence Viola Graff (nee Benike), age 102 years, of West Bend, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Kathy Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

Florence was born on May 29, 1921 in West Bend to Fred and Marie Benike (Schluter).  She was one of nine children. Florence was united in marriage to Ramon Graff.

Florence was an avid Brewers, Packers, Bucks, and Badger Fan. She kept her mind healthy by watching the Game Show Channel and Jeopardy, watching the news, reading newspapers, crossword puzzles, and word searches. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Great Grandma G kept up to date on all their activities. Florence always was certain to have her make-up on before leaving the house, so she could look her best.

Those Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two sons, Barry (Jane) Graff and Terry (Diane) Graff; four grandchildren, Nicole (Casey) Vullings, Brett (Jenny) Graff, Amanda (Nick) Karls, and Nathan Graff (Fiancée Charlotte Dutcher); great-grandchildren, Payton and Brady Vullings; brother, George (Carol) Benike; and sister, Lucille Dannen. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon; and daughter, Bonnie.

Florence’s funeral service and burial will be a private family event, in accordance with her wishes.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kathy Hospice for their care and compassion along with the staff at The Waterford in West Bend.
