Florence Pietschmann

July 8, 1931 — October 15, 2015

Florence Esther Pietschmann, 84, of West Bend, passed away with her family at her side on Thursday, October 15, 2015 after a short illness, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

Florence was born July 8, 1931, in Farmington, the daughter of the late Jesse and Elsie (nee Weiss) Kertscher.  On October 29, 1955 she married the late Albert Pietschmann Jr.  Albert preceded her in death on April 2, 1982.

Florence spent her life raising her 3 sons and caring for her nieces, grandchildren and her parents.  She found great joy in each of their successes and loved them all unconditionally.

Florence is survived by her loving sons, Jeffrey (Jackie Snyder) of West Bend, Glenn (Donna Page) of Kewaskum and Terry (Victoria) of West Bend; her adoring grandchildren, Stacy (Jeremy) Skroch, Randy Pietschmann, Christopher (Katie) Pietschmann, Jennifer (Robert Klumpp, Jr.) and Jodi Pietschmann, Desiree and Jesse Pietschmann; step grandchildren Paul and Kevin Diedrich and Wiley Page; great grandchildren, Simon, Jessie, and Quentin Skroch, Ethan Pietschmann, Isabella and Konner Pietschmann, Noah and Nolan Klumpp; one sister, Marcella (Rudy) Stadler of Saukville; sister-in-law, Bernice Kertscher of West Bend; special nieces, Betty Vesnefsky, Judy Justman, Sandy Kasten, Diane Wells and a nephew, Donald Galabinske.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Albert and Elenora (Groeschel) Pietschmann; three sisters, Mildred (Clarence) Galabinske, Evelyn (Hilbert) Reimer, Dorothy (Andrew) Breit; two brothers, Milton (Marjorie Becker) Kertscher, her dearly loved brother Earl Kertscher; six sisters-in-law, Helen (Henry) Karth, Ethel (Carlos) Crass, June (Donald) Mueller, Alice (Raymond) Eichmann, Dorothy (Milton) Schuster, Marilyn (James) Brink; and a special niece, Shirley Galabinske.

A Celebration of Florence’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend.  Pastor David Schoob will officiate and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Washington County Memorial Park where Florence will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Albert.

Florence’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Memorials to the American Heart Association will be appreciated.
